Anatomical Society of India Gears Up for 71st National Conference in Amritsar
The Department of Anatomy at Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Amritsar is making preparations to host the prestigious 71st National Conference of the Anatomical Society of India from November 21-24, 2024.
In an invitation letter, the Organizing Secretary Dr. Anupama Mahajan extends a warm welcome to anatomists across India to attend the academic event in the holy city of Amritsar. “We have set ourselves in mission mode to make this a once in a lifetime experience for participants,” states Dr. Mahajan.
The conference aims to provide an enriching academic feast encompassing all sub-specialties of anatomy. Organizers are working closely with subject matter experts and ASI office bearers to curate a program satisfying the quest for knowledge while setting a futuristic roadmap for the field.
Beyond academics, Dr. Mahajan highlights the spiritual and cultural experiences awaiting attendees in Amritsar. As the centuries-old center of Sikh history and home to the revered Golden Temple, the city offers visitors a chance to soak in tranquility. Other attractions include the Wagah Border ceremony, the somber Jallianwala Bagh memorial, and forts and museums celebrating Punjab’s rich heritage.
A particular draw is the opportunity to savor classic Amritsari culinary delicacies throughout the visit. With extensive air, rail and road connectivity, Amritsar offers convenient travel options for conference delegates.
The Anatomical Society of India’s annual conference rotates to a new host institute each year, providing a chance to showcase academic excellence and regional cultural traditions. As Dr. Mahajan states, “The famous Amritsari hospitality awaits you.
